ATLANTIC SALMON

The Atlantic Salmon has been an important food source for the Penobscot Nation of Maine for generations. The salmon's annual migration routes bring them up the Penobscot and Kennebec Rivers.
There has been a concerted effort to return the runs of salmon to the way they used to be.   There are many obstacles to overcome: dams, pollution, and greedy fishermen.   Hopefully, with everyone working together, the salmon can again florish in its native habitat.
