PURPOSE
DESCRIPTION
This web site is being constructed by students in the schools listed below. Students are studying and sharing key aspects of gathering, preparation and uses of plants which may include cultural significance.

ONEIDA NATIONS SCHOOL is located in beautiful northeast Wisconsin where deciduous forests abound. Our climate is influenced by the water of Lake Michigan.
LUMMI TRIBAL SCHOOL is a K-6 elementary school located in the northwest corner of Washington state, near Bellingham. The school of 175 students is on a reservation which is a pennisula surrounded by salt water.
SANTA CLARA DAY SCHOOL is located along the bank of the Rio Grande River in northern New Mexico. We are a K-6 school located in the Pueblo of Santa Clara. We serve about 125 students.
MARTY INDIAN SCHOOL is located in the praries of southeastern South Dakota close to the Missouri River. We are a K-12 school with approximately 350 students.
HANNAHVILLE TRIBAL SCHOOL is located in the Great Lakes Region in the beautiful four seasonal upper pennisula of Michigan.
QUILEUTE TRIBAL SCHOOL is located on the northwest Pacific coast of the state of Washington. The area on the Olympic pennisula is generally in the rain forest. The village where the Quileutes live is called La Push. It is at the mouth of the Quillayute River.
LAGUNA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is located in mid-western New Mexico. The Pueblo of Laguna is located on a desert plateau approximately 5300 ft. above sea level. Our school is K-5 with about 380 students.
