INSTRUCTION

 

Goal: To develop a sense of understanding how the buffalo provided shelter and other uses for the family

Lesson Summary and Performance Tasks:

Day 1:  The students will go to the library to study books of different sources abut Indian home and take notes

 

Day 2:  The teacher and students plan how they will make a model and ask the shop teacher to cut the circular boards.  Teacher will provide the dowels, about 8 dowels for each student.  Collect all materials to get ready for the next lesson.  Use teacher made model.

 

Day 3:  Each student will examine the model and begin with the help of the Language Culture teacher.

 

Day 4:  Students will work to complete their projects before the end of the period.  Write about activity in journal.
