INSTRUCTION

 

Goal: To have students learn how to make Seminole fry bread.

Lesson Summary and Performance Tasks: 

Teacher will invite a guest speaker to show the preparation of Seminole fry bread.  Students will observe and take notes of the steps in making fry bread.  The following day, students will mimic the process and make their own fry bread.

Students will create a class book showing the recipe steps using the digital photos.  Students can research other Seminole recipes to make and add to the class book.
