We will all be working towards the creation of a Four Directions Virtual
Culture Box that will be shared on the Internet and via CD ROM. The Virtual Culture Box is
our "Organizing Concept" or "Theme" and is called Celebrating
Cultural Connections. Participants will select one or more areas or "strands" to work in during SI '99. Each strand will have
an organizing meeting early in the week at SI '99 to plan the product(s) they are going to
produce for the culture box. Each strand has many possible "skills",
"tools", or "sessions" that will help the participants in the
strand complete their product. Some of these will be pre-scheduled - "sessions"
but most of these will need to be scheduled via the dance cards of the individuals and the
people who will provide assistance. |
